SCS Self-Learning Tool Terms and Conditions

Greetings to all the students in public schools of secondary education, especially those who are in General Education Improvement Project schools. We really appreciate that you spend time signing in this SCS Self-Learning Tool App to explore more on terms and conditions in using this App. Faculty of Education, RUPP and CKCC co-developed this Mobile App to enable secondary students in general and the students in GEIP 433 schools to practice and enhance their self-learning experience through 4 levels organized self-learning worksheets to help them achieved their learning success.  Students can practice their self-learning daily with different grade and level of self-learning worksheets, in doing so their learning capacity, efficiency, and effectiveness will be increased gradually in modernized way and lead to regional and international standard soon.

Case of Changing Terms and Conditions in SCS Self-Learning Tool

Faculty of Education, RUPP have the right to make changes in our terms and conditions, copyright, and other agreements in sore purpose to make SCS Self-Learning Tool Application better and user friendly. At the same time, we will announce the changes beforehand to users through phone number or email. All the changes will be effective after the announcement. Thus, if you continue using this Application after changes have been made, it means that you agreed with the new updates.

SCS Self-Learning Tool Communication

In using this SCS Self-Learning Application means that you agree to have communication with our team, so we will send you news and updates through your email or phone number. Our communication is mainly with your user account in this Application only. We also can communicate with you to introduce how to use this Application and to explain other advantages of using this Application, plus the news of updates and changes in terms and conditions.

Information that you provided to our application including your user identity will comply with the principles of privacy, which is an additional condition and is detailed on the Privacy Policy page.   

Usership

Generally, you can download SCS Self-Learning Tool on any operating system (iOS AppStore or Android Play Store). Our application is free in both registration and usage.  In this application you can practice with organized self-learning worksheets that match with MoEYS curriculum. Additionally, we will annually adjust and add self-learning worksheets to maximize your learning outcome. You can go through your learning history and data while using this application as well.

Usage

Users of the "SCS Self - Learning Tool" include people of any age. You can use this application if you are a student in the General Education Improvement Project (GEIP) or if you are a student who can read Khmer and would like to undertake additional self-study utilizing self-study worksheets in the form of multiple-choice questions to enhance your self-knowledge. It is necessary that you own a mobile phone that can install this application and connect to the internet. The cost of using Internet data is the user's own expense. 

Lessons and other data in the mobile application “SCS Self-Learning Tool” are only permitted for additional education and growth. Downloading audio or video recordings or making any type of copy for sharing or individual use for bussiness purspose is strictly prohibited. All data contained in this mobile application is all right reserved which is the property of the Faculty of Education of the Royal University of Phnom Penh that protected by the copy right law of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Users who violate the terms of use of the application “SCS Self- Learning Tool” will result in fines or may face the copyright law and the protection of the privileges of the app developer. Thank you for your cooperation and enjoy your self-study worksheets and further development through the “ SCS Self-Learning Tool ” application. You can use this app everywhere as long as you use the same eamil and password without signing out even though you are outside the Cambodia. An account is linked by an email and can be used to connect multiple phones.

To give you the greatest self-study worksheets, we have been producing self-study worksheets for all grade levels and continuously updating them. In addition, we reserve the right, without prior notice, to delete any lessons or data from the application (due to a request for deletion by the teacher trainers who contributed the data or the owner of the data, or in violation of Private), however we'll do our best to keep you updated on any changes. 

The quality of the images in each lesson or other data varies depending on number of factors, including: the location of the devices (mobile phones), the internet speed that the provider of the service supplies, or the time you access. Not every worksheet lesson we offer has clear image. Your internet connection must be fast in to access the high-quality self-study worksheets, but it will also use up a lot of data. If you use mobile data or the internet on a limited basis, you should discuss the plan and cost with your internet service provider or telecommunications provider. Your internet costs and data usage are not our responsibility. The storage time for watching the lesson, on the other hand, is not limited because it may vary depending on the Internet's speed and the other criteria mentioned above. You must install the updated version of the software to continue using the " SCS Self-Learning Tool " application.

To continue using our software, you must update to the most recent version available through the App Store or Play Store. The good news is that our software is small, and the download process is quick.

Account

Before users can access any feature of the application, they must first create an account by registering using an email along with their full name (surname and first name) your enrollment at shcool. We collect your email and the name of the school you are attending as well as other personally identifiable information from you. As of right now, we only allow email registration; we do not currently permit any other method. Only one email can be linked to an account. Use of the "SCS Self-Learning Tool" application for the purpose of self - directed learning on additional lessons in accordance with the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports' curriculum to enhance students' learning and expand knowledge for individuals. This application is available for free download. In summary, downloading and setting up an account to use the " SCS Self-Learning Tool " only take a few minutes, and all that is needed to register is a new email and real name.

General Information of Guarantees and Shortcomings

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we strive to provide the best possible service, and all self-study worksheets related to this service, or any other process relevant to us are offered without damage and warranty. We do not guarantee that your use of the SCS Self-Learning Tool will be uninterrupted or error-free. We declare our responsibility for the use of software and tools (including continuing to provide compatibility with our services). To the extent permitted in any case, the "SCS Self-Learning Tool" and the Faculty of Education, Royal University of Phnom Penh shall not be liable to users for any personal injury or damage, especially accidental or indirect.

No part of these Terms of Use excludes or imposes any liability for fraud, misrepresentation, or misconduct. If you actually send us information without our request, you acknowledge that no action or consideration has been given to you, and you may not object to the use of the information that is from the "SCS Self-Learning Tool", although; the information we use is very similar to what you send.

These Terms of Use are subject to and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia, regardless of legal or regulatory disputes. You may also be entitled to protection for certain users under the laws of our country or jurisdiction.

In the event of a dispute arising from the provision of information from the customer service team or other departments involved with our program, the content is different from what is stated in terms of use, meaning and content. If any provision of these terms is invalid or unenforceable for any reason or to any degree, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and fully applicable in any case.
